OMAHA SCHOOL OF MUSIC WILL PRESENT FESTIVE
HOLIDAY PERFORMANCES

December 9. 2008, Omaha, Nebraska -- Under the direction of Mr. Michael Dryver, the Omaha School of Music will join Mr. Stan Spurgeon and the Confidentials in a wonderful and festive Christmas concert in Witherspoon Concert Hall at the Josyln Art Museum on Saturday, December 20th at 7:00 PM. The cost is $12.50 for adults; $ 7.50 for students. No charge for children under 6.

Also, on Saturday, December 20, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, students from the Omaha School of Music will perform at the Western Heritage Museum.

On Saturday, December 13th at 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., there will be a holiday performance at the Westroads Mall. The performance will take place in the Dick's Sporting Goods wing. In spite of the tragic events that took place last year at Von Maur, students still performed at the Westroads Mall and will do so again this year. The students would like to dedicate their performance to the families of the victims. They remain in our thoughts and prayers, stated Mrs. Doris Lassiter, Director of PR for the school.

"These musical performances are wonderful traditional cultural events for the entire family", said Mrs. Janet Ashley, an instructor and coordinator of the school's music program.-

"We look forward to sharing this wonderful holiday season with the entire Omaha community", stated Mr. Dryver, the school's Founder and Artistic Director.
