May 2, 2008, Omaha, Nebraska
- Students of the Omaha School of
Music gathered at Grisanti's, 10875 W
Dodge Rd (Old Mill) on Sunday, April 13, 2008 to perform
select Italian opera pieces such as "Danza,
Danza, Fanciulaa Gentile"; "Caro Mio Ben";

Michael Dryver, Artistic Director
and Founder of the Omaha School of Music says "student performances
were well received by the audience and it was a delight to challenge them to
experience and embrace multiple cultures utilizing foreign language through
music". Gloria Epps, a former foreign language instructor with Omaha Public
School District and current President of the Board of Directors for Omaha
School of Music says "children involved in after school music
education programs seem to do better academically in school".
In addition to sponsoring on-going after school music education
programs, the Omaha School of Music will be sponsoring a summer music and
performing arts camp for beginning and experienced students interested in
voice, piano, dance, drama, violin, guitar and drums. Students must
register by May 30th and can do so by calling the studio at
