The Omaha School of Music,(OSM) now operating in our 30th year, is a not-for-profit music education center.    We  offer affordable private lessons, summer camps, pre-school programs  and after school programs for grades K through 12 in piano, voice, guitar, strings and even dance.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Omaha School of Music is to provide full and equal access to education in music and fine arts for people of all ethnic, racial and socioeconomic groups.

After-School Music Education Program

The OSM After School program is an exciting program offered to students in public and private school districts as well as home schooled students. Participants are typically students who have expressed an interest in voice, piano, strings percussion, and dance programs.  In addition to mastering their area of interest or instrument of choice, students will understand relationships between music, the other arts, and disciplines outside the arts. They will understand music in relation to history and culture. Annual recitals are held providing performing experience for all students. Students will be given an opportunity to  participate in voluntary music competitions held locally and nationally. Classes are held in the fall and spring from 3:30 to 6:00 PM.  Transportation from school to OSM studios may be provided by school districts.
